The Theatre of the Small and Small Beginnings are based in Sandwich, Kent, UK.

James is a freelance lecturer in Art History, currently working at Canterbury Christ Church University.
 
He is also a practising fine artist.

Sonia is a writer published under her
maiden name 'Sonia Overall'.

Her novels 'A Likeness' and
'The Realm of Shells' are published by
4th Estate and Harper Perennial.

Sonia is represented by the
literary agent Simon Trewin.

James and Sonia are also members of Rough Musicke medieval street band and Narragonia, an early music group: James as a masked street performer (above) and storyteller, Sonia as a musician.
